Course description:

The course is comprised of 2 main study units:
1. Preparation for training: lesson planning
2. Delivery of training: training & presentation skills

Preparation for training: class planning
Analysis of the training needs in a methodical manner:
– Correct definition of the training goals
– Definition of knowledge, skills and success measures
– Definition of preliminary requirements
– Preparing tests & exams

Planning and development of a training unit:

– Familiarity with different training methods
– Selection of training methods in accordance with the training needs
– Identification and classification of content units – concepts, facts, principles, processes
– Building a lesson
– Development of class training materials

2. Training Delivery: classroom training skills
– Self-presentation
– How to get the audience’s attention
– How to motivate learning
– Adult learning principles
– Different learning styles
 – how to conduct a fit-to-all training
– Time management in training
– Responding to questions
– Correct posture in front of the class
– Body language during training
– Assertive instruction
– Coping with specific issues such as: tardiness, objections, disagreement, inappropriate behavior, domineering behavior, lack of cooperation
